What are the typical turnaround times?

Books are made in about a week or less.

If the book is in and ready to print by Monday morning we make sure it is out no later than Friday. (Most of the time it is sooner)

Then you need shipping times

Hey,

At around the start of November I started to receive emails from album companies giving me cut off dates for albums some as early as 7th of November - I ordered my last VA of 2008 around 10 days before Christmas and my customer had it for Christmas - thats not bad but when you work out I live and work in the UK - thats amazing.

I do know they offer a rush service but unless you really have to have an album in 48 hours I cant see EVER needing to get an album quicker than a week !

It has never taken more than a week for me to get my books! Even during the Holiday Season! How DO THEY DO THAT?

Yes it is very important to me that we here at VisionArt keep fast turnaround time.

I think the reason is me being a photographer myself and I know how it is that by the time I have the book designed it is already weeks late. And the MOB is calling asking were is the book?:)

Karen, thanks for your comments.

I looked up your order and we did receive it on the 31st of March - a Tuesday.

Jim mentioned in a previous post that if we receive a print ready order on Monday morning it would ship by that Friday. The worse case scenario is submiting an order on Monday PM or Tuesday... then our guaranteed ship date would be the following Friday and that is the case with yours. It is scheduled to ship tomorrow the 10th. That is why you do not have it yet, becuase it will ship as promised, on the 10th.

I am so sorry you are dissapointed in our service. To be honest, there are times that we get our books out way under schedule - unfortunately that did not happen this time.

Joanie - thanks for the response, but please know that I'm not disappointed in your service! I was just curious about the turnaround time that was mentioned since this last order of mine was not falling in line with what was stated. It's now clear to me that you guys ship on only one day per week, being Friday. I didn't know that was the case because the way it was explained implies that it's about a 5-day turnaround time.

What further confused matters was that the last book I ordered (which was an order of three books, actually), came in under the promised time!

So now that I know you guys ship only on Fridays, I'll keep that in mind when ordering.

I just noticed your post here. Sorry for this delay responding but I noticed the comment that we only ship on Fridays. I just wanted to clarify that. Joanie mentioned that if the order is received, print ready on Monday morning, we ship it out by the following Friday. We ship every day, so many times we are shipping it even sooner than Friday. The only extra time would be for special order items.

I hope that clarifies our shipping times. We ship Monday through Friday. Thanks!
