I am wondering how they compare to graphistudio?

Hi Karen, In my experience, the VA book is much more durable. A fellow photog had a Graphi sample kit and I had the VA book. We got them about the same time and the Graphi began to fall apart after just a few months. My oldest VA book is now close to 3 years old, been flipped through 100+ times and still looks new except for an occasional smudge from someone's makeup-y fingers. :)

Ha, great question, I was just talking about this.
First off unless your talking about the Graphi fine art paper there is no comparrison they are totally different animals.
Graphi is printed on Kodak photo paper and when its folded the is a colour shift in the fold and you end up with either a pink or a blue line down the page.
If your talking about the graphi fine art books then they are similar to the VA product. The graphi paper is not as nice (imho) and is textured which makes your images look a little soft. I have a graphi sample which has not fallen apart and still looks pretty good and every time I see a bride I pull the graphi and the VA out to show them - I put them side by side and EVERY time the bride chooses the VA - it just look sharper.
As an aside the black and whites on the VA paper are amazing - try a VA and you will be hooked.

Hi Karen,
I realize this thread is a bit old but i just logged on and saw it and thought i share my experience. Graphi over the past several years has had some customer service issues. The quality of their product has gone down hill. We were looking at using them and when we ordered the sample kit, although it came in a cool package, took so long to get to me that i actually forgot that i had ordered it. It took 9 months to get here and because the company is in Italy, you're going to pay alot more.
My clients absolutely love the Vision art books so much so that we went exclusively with them. We had been using Finao albums as well and not a single client ever ordered one. They all chose VA albums
